We ship non-prescription glasses within one business day and prescription glasses within 5 -10 business days (due to custom made lenses). We will notify you a confirmation along with tracking once your order ships.

Returns and exchanges

Every situation is different so to start please email us at hello@opticiancompany.com so we can further assist you. We offer a one-time prescription remake within the first 45 days from the purchase date, but unfortunately cannot do returns on prescription glasses due to custom made lenses. If you have any problems with our product or if you want to return non-prescription eyewear please contact us.

After the return/exchange is approved we will email you an identification number along with a shipping label to make things as easy as possible. Shipping cost will be determined by the situation.

Warranty

All eyewear comes with a one year manufacturer defect warranty. To start a warranty exchange please email us at hello@opticiancompany.com along with your order number. Please DO NOT glue anything if broken before reaching out to our customer service team. Gluing product will immediately void any warranties. We are more than happy to look into anything so please do not hesitate to ask.

We honor a one to two year (one time) scratch warranty redo depending on what product was ordered. We do not cover shipping for any remakes, but can supply you with a return shipping label pre-purchased by you. Please email our team at hello@opticiancompany.com along with your order number so we can further assist you.

Privacy policy

Optician Co. collects from you only the personal information you voluntarily provide in order to deliver the best possible service. The necessary information is your name, phone number, physical address, eyewear prescription and email address. Email addresses are used to inform you that your order is ready to ship or to advise you of current offers and events. We will never share, sell or rent individual, personal information with anyone without your advance permission or unless ordered by a court of law.

Optician Co. reserves the right, at its sole discretion, to change, modify, add or remove portions of this Privacy Policy at any time. Accordingly, Optician Co. recommends that you revisit the Privacy Policy from time to time to ensure that you are aware of the current privacy practices.

faq about lenses

Oils, make-up, sunscreen and other products like to jump from our faces onto our lenses making them very hard to clean sometimes. We suggest washing your glasses/lenses with Dawn soap! This breaks down whatever is on the lenses leaving you crisp and clean lenses. We also like to use not one, but TWO cleaning cloths. One cloth to get the excess water off the lenses and the second to polish! If you would like to learn more please head over to our blog to see a demonstration of our cleaning process.

Most lens materials have scratch coatings within the layers, but plastic lenses can still scratch with enough force. Alcohol in lens cleaners after time will start to break down coatings which could look like scratches. Excessive heat is another way to cause your lenses to chip, crack or craze (coatings start to separate). This is why we offer warrantees on your anti-reflective coating.
